Maintenance Priced From the Book

Your owner's manual already says what your vehicle needs at each mileage. We price from that list, not from a menu of extras. Tell us the year, make, model and current mileage, and we quote the service before you book.

Each visit also covers the slow-wearing items: belts, hoses, tires, brakes, lights and battery. Anything getting close comes with a price attached, and the timing of that repair is your call.

Mountain driving, towing and lots of short trips usually count as severe service in the manual. We will tell you which schedule your driving fits, and why.

Because every visit is recorded, the next one is easy to plan. You will know roughly what is due at the next milestone and what it is likely to cost, so maintenance becomes a predictable expense instead of a surprise.

What Shapes a Maintenance Price

Mileage milestone
A basic oil service and a major interval service with plugs and fluids are very different jobs.
Oil specification
Engines that require full synthetic or a specific approved oil cost more per change than those that do not.
Engine type
Diesel engines take more oil and larger filters than most gasoline engines.
Items found
Anything outside the scheduled list is quoted separately and only done with your approval.

Included in Scheduled Maintenance

  • Oil and filter to the manufacturer's specification
  • Fluid level and condition checks
  • Engine and cabin air filters when due
  • Spark plugs at their scheduled interval
  • Belt and hose inspection
  • Tire tread and brake pad measurements
  • Battery load test
  • Dated service record for your files

Is the Service Really Due?

Book soon if

  • The oil-life monitor reads low or the reminder is on
  • You are past the mileage in the manual
  • The oil is dark, gritty or below the mark
  • A long towing trip or a mountain drive is coming up

Can usually wait if

  • You are well inside the interval
  • The last service was recent and recorded
  • The vehicle sees mostly gentle highway miles
  • Only cosmetic items are on the list

Following the manual is the cheapest way to own a vehicle. Skipping intervals saves a little now and usually costs much more later. A complete, dated record also helps when the time comes to sell.

How a Service Visit Goes

  1. Look up

We find the service your vehicle is due for and quote it on the phone. Routine service prices rarely move from visit to visit.

  2. Service

The scheduled work and the quiet-wear check are done, usually while you wait or the same day.

  3. Record

You leave with a dated record and a note of anything coming due soon.
